Data Archiving Using Enhanced MAID

چکیده
This paper discusses archive data and its specific attributes, as well as the requirements for storing, cataloging, managing, and retrieving archive data. We discuss how MAID (Massive Array of Idle Disks), and particularly our enhanced implementation of MAID, are particularly well suited for the storage of long-term archive data. Finally, we present an overview of the Revolution 220A file archive product with MILLENNIA ARCHIVETM software and how it is in use today in some typical applications.
