Zero sense in European approach to GM.

چکیده
European Union (EU) policies regarding genetically modified (GM) crops and food have increasingly isolated its member states from much of the rest of the world in this regard over the past decade. The discussion in European countries over whether to grow and eat GM crops and food has stalled plant research, while the rest of the world has been growing and using an increasing number of GM pestor herbicideresistant plants. In fact, the EU has only approved two GM crops (Bt maize in 1998 and Amflora potatoes in 2010) for cultivation and some member states have banned the agricultural use of GM crops altogether.

Identity preservation of genetically modified organisms in the food chain: requirements, methods, and costs.
The use of the technology of genetic modification (GM) in European agriculture and the food supply chain is currently controversial. Because of strong anti-GM technology sentiments, the use of ingredients derived from plants containing GM have largely been eliminated from foods manufactured for direct human consumption by the food supply chain in much of the European Union (EU). During the past...
متن کاملEuropean option pricing of fractional Black-Scholes model with new Lagrange multipliers
In this paper, a new identification of the Lagrange multipliers by means of the Sumudu transform, is employed to btain a quick and accurate solution to the fractional Black-Scholes equation with the initial condition for a European option pricing problem. Undoubtedly this model is the most well known model for pricing financial derivatives. The fractional derivatives is described in Caputo sen...
متن کاملDetection of galactomannan in bronchoalveolar lavage of the intensive care unit patients at risk for invasive aspergillosis
Background and Purpose: Invasive aspergillosis (IA) is one of the most common life-threatening fungal infections among the critically ill patients including intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Delayed diagnosis and therapy may lead to poor outcomes. Diagnosis may be facilitated by a test for molecular biomarkers, i.e. detection of galactomannan (GM) antigen based on enzyme immunoassay, which is...
متن کاملIf There Is Really a Notable Concern about Allergenicity of Genetically Modified Foods?
In recent decades, biotechnologists have striven to improve the quantity and quality of food supply. Producing genetically modified (GM) foods is one of the main goals and many countries all over the world have approved the distribution and consumption of the labeled GM foods in their own regions. However, there are still few groups having concerns about allergenicity of GM foods. This review h...
متن کاملIn vivo Characterization of Fusion Protein Comprising of A1 Subunit of Shiga Toxin and Human GM-CSF: Assessment of Its Immunogenicity and Toxicity
Background: Most cancer cells become resistant to anti-cancer agents. In the last few years, a new approach for targeted therapy of human cancer has been developed using immunotoxins which comprise both the cell targeting and the cell killing moieties. Methods: In the present study, the recombinant Shiga toxin A1 subunit fused to human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (A1-GM-CSF...
