Rearrangement of the T Cell Receptor ‘ y - Chain Gene in Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

چکیده
We analyzed rearrangements of the T cell receptor ‘y-chain (T7) gene as well as rearrangements of the T cell receptor /9-chain (Ta) gene and immunoglobulin heavy-chain (IgH) gene in 68 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). All 1 5 patients with T cell ALL showed rearrangements of both ‘F,, and T., genes. Twenty-four of 53 non-T, non-B ALL patients (45%) showed T7 gene rearrangements and only 14 of these also showed T , gene rearrangements. Only a single patient rearranged the T gene in the absence of T7 gene rearrangement. The rearrangement patterns of the T. gene in non-T. non-B ALL were quite different from

Diversity of T-cell receptor Gene Rearrangements in South Indian Patients with Common Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Background: Precursor B-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (precursor B-ALL) oc-curs due to the uncontrolled proliferation of B-lymphoid precursors arrested at a par-ticular stage of B-cell development. Precursor-B-ALL is classified mainly into pro-B-ALL, common-ALL and pre-B-ALL. The Common Acute Lymphoblastic Antigen CD10 is the marker for common-ALL. Objective: This study was aimed to examine the ...

Background: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common form of childhood cancer leading to cancer-related death in children. Most infants with ALL harbor recurring structural chromosomal rearrangements that are important initiating events in leukemogenesis but are insufficient to explain the biology and heterogeneity of the disease. Mixed-lineage leukemia-rearrangement (MLL-rearrange...

Background: Interleukin (IL)-23 has an important role in tumor immune regulation. Objective: To investigate the possible association of interleukin-23 receptor (IL23R) gene variants rs1884444, rs10889677 and rs11209026 with development of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Methods: The IL23R variants were studied in 164 ALL patients and compared to 175 healthy controls by polymerase chain reac...

Introduction: Evidence suggests that Lysosome associated protein transmembrane 4B (LAPTM4B) contributes to the risk of numerous cancers. The present study aimed to find out the impact of LAPTM4B polymorphism on the risk of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in the southeastern Iranian population. Materials and Methods: A total of 230 subjects including 110 children diagnosed with ALL ...
متن کاملTerminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase expression can precede T cell receptor beta chain and gamma chain rearrangement in T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
The nuclear enzyme terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) is thought to contribute to the diversity of certain immunoglobulin and T cell receptor gene rearrangements through the addition of random nucleotides at their variable (V)-joining (J) region junctions. An acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with an immature T cell phenotype (CD7+, CD5+, CD1+/-, CD2+/-, CD3-, CD4-, CD8-) was found to...
