Process Mining with ProM

چکیده
This demonstration paper describes version 4.1 of the ProM process mining tool. Process mining techniques attempt to extract non-trivial and useful process information from so-called “event logs”. ProM allows for the discovery of different process perspectives (e.g., control-flow, time, resources, and data) and supports related techniques such as control-flow mining, performance analysis, resource analysis, conformance checking, verification, etc. This makes ProM a practical and versatile tool for process analysis and

Process Mining and the ProM Framework: An Exploratory Survey
In the last decade the field of process mining gained attention from research and practice. There is, however, not much known about the use and the appreciation of the involved techniques and tools, many of which are integrated into the well-known ProM framework. Therefore a questionnaire was sent out to ask people’s opinions about process mining and the ProM framework. This paper reports on th...
متن کاملEDU-ProM: ProM for the Classroom
We present EDU-ProM, an extension of the ProM framework, which was designed to serve as a classroom version of ProM for educational purposes. EDU-ProM is designed to work in a non-interactive work mode, allowing the execution of a set of mining tasks against numerous event logs without user intervention. It is mostly suitable for process mining researchers and students who are interested in exp...
متن کاملXES, XESame, and ProM 6
Process mining has emerged as a new way to analyze business processes based on event logs. These events logs need to be extracted from operational systems and can subsequently be used to discover or check the conformance of processes. ProM is a widely used tool for process mining. In earlier versions of ProM, MXML was used as an input format. In future releases of ProM, a new logging format wil...
متن کاملData Streams in ProM 6: A Single-node Architecture
Process mining is an active field of research that primarily builds upon data mining and process model-driven analysis. Within the field, static data is typically used. The usage of dynamic and/or volatile data (i.e. real-time streaming data) is very limited. Current process mining techniques are in general not able to cope with challenges posed by real-time data. Hence new approaches that enab...
متن کاملSupporting Process Mining Workflows with RapidProM
Process mining is gaining more and more attention both in industry and practice. As such, the number of process mining products is steadily increasing. However, none of these products allow for composing and executing analysis workflows consisting of multiple process mining algorithms. As a result, the analyst needs to perform repetitive process mining tasks manually and scientific process expe...
