چکیده

We numerically solve fully (3+1)-dimensional relativistic hydrodynamical equation coupled with the baryon number conservation law without spatial symmetry. We discuss the effect of transverse expansion based on the deviation our numerical result from Bjorken’s scaling solution. We analyze the space-time evolution of the QGP gas in the case of non cylindrical initial conditions.

Energy loss of partons traversing a QGP fluid

Measurements of high pT hadrons at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) may provide insight into a quark gluon plasma (QGP) [1]. Since jets have to traverse the excited matter, their spectra should be changed in comparison with the elementary hadron-hadron data. The energy loss of jets has been proposed as a possible signal of the QGP phase in relativistic heavy ion collisions [2]. Over t...

Entropy Production in Relativistic Hydrodynamics

The entropy production occurring in relativistic hydrodynamical systems such as the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) formed in high-energy nuclear collisions is explored. We study mechanisms which change the composition of the fluid, i.e. particle production and/or chemical reactions, along with chemoand thermo-diffusion. These effects complement the conventional dissipative effects of shear viscosity,...

COMMENT ON CHERNAVSKAYA’S PAPER “DOUBLE PHASE TRANSITION MODEL AND THE PROBLEM OF ENTROPY AND BARYON NUMBER CONSERVATION” hep-ph/9701265

In the standard construction of a first-order equilibrium phase transition via the Gibbs criteria from a quark-gluon plasma (QGP) to a hot and dense hadron gas (HG), the appearance of a discontinuity in the entropy per baryon ratio (s/n) makes the phase transition at fixed temperature T and fixed chemical potential μ irreversible. Recently several papers have been addressed to the question of c...

The various kinds of flow phenomena such as directed flow, elliptic flow and radial flow have been observed in recent experiment at AGS and SPS [1]-[4]. Anisotropic flow phenomena are expected to show a strong dependence on the nuclear equation of state [5]. Here, for analyzing anisotropic flow phenomena with relativistic hydrodynamical model in detail, we need full calculation of (3+1)-dimensi...

The new computer program for three dimensional relativistic hydrodynamical model

An effective computer program for three dimensional relativistic hydrodynamical model has been developed. It implements a new approach to the early hot phase of relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The computer program simulates time-space evolution of nuclear matter in terms of ideal-fluid dynamics. Equations of motions of hydrodynamics are solved making use of finite difference methods. Commonl...
