چکیده

Here, we report a facile hydrothermal approach for synthesizing anatase TiO2 hierarchical mesoporous submicrotubes (ATHMSs) with the aid of long-chain polymer as soft template. The TiO2 nanocrystals, with sizes of 6-8 nm, are well interconnected with each other to build tubular architectures with diameters of 0.3-1.5 μm and lengths of 10-25 μm. Such highly porous structures give rise to very large specific surface area of 201.9 m(2) g(-1) and 136.8 m(2) g(-1) for the as-prepared and annealed samples, respectively. By using structurally stable ATHMSs as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, they exhibited high reversible capacity, long cycling life and excellent cycling stability. Even after 1000 cycles, such ATHMS electrodes retained a reversible discharge capacity as high as 150 mAh g(-1) at the current density of 1700 mA g(-1), maintaining 92% of the initial discharge capacity (163 mAh g(-1)).

Hierarchical TiO2/C nanocomposite monoliths with a robust scaffolding architecture, mesopore-macropore network and TiO2-C heterostructure for high-performance lithium ion batteries.

Engineering hierarchical structures of electrode materials is a powerful strategy for optimizing the electrochemical performance of an anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Herein, we report the fabrication of hierarchical TiO2/C nanocomposite monoliths by mediated mineralization and carbonization using bacterial cellulose (BC) as a scaffolding template as well as a carbon source. Hierarchical Nanotube-Constructed Porous TiO2-B Spheres for High Performance Lithium Ion Batteries

Hierarchically structured porous TiO2-B spheres have been synthesized via a hydrothermal process using amorphous titania/oleylamine composites as a self-sacrificing template. The TiO2-B spheres are constructed by interconnected nanotubes and possess a high specific surface area of 295 m(2) g(-1). When evaluated as an anode material in lithium-half cells, the as-obtained TiO2-B material exhibits...

A Biomineralization Strategy for “Net”‐Like Interconnected TiO2 Nanoparticles Conformably Covering Reduced Graphene Oxide with Reversible Interfacial Lithium Storage

A green and simple biomineralization-inspired method to create "net"-like interconnected TiO2 nanoparticles conformably covering reduced graphene oxide (RGO) with high loading density is reported. This method uses polyamine as both the biomineralization agent and linker to manipulate the nucleation, growth, and crystallization of TiO2 nanoparticles on the surface of graphene oxide. The obtained...

Nanocrystalline anatase TiO2: a new anode material for rechargeable sodium ion batteries.

Anatase TiO2 nanocrystals were successfully employed as anodes for rechargeable Na-ion batteries for the first time. The mesoporous electrodes exhibited a highly stable reversible charge storage capacity of ~150 mA h g(-1) over 100 cycles, and were able to withstand high rate cycling, fully recovering this capacity after being cycled at rates as high as 2 A g(-1).
