An Agent-Based Model of Information Diffusion Mid-Year Report

چکیده
Understanding how information spreads throughout a population can help public health officials improve how they communicate with the public in emergency situations. In this project, I implement an agent-based information diffusion model inspired by the Bass model. I compare my discrete-time simulation to a traditional differential-equation conceptualization of the Bass model. Finally, I test my model by seeing how well it predicts the real-life spread of information through a Twitter network.
