چکیده
In this paper, after analyzing the reasons of poor generalization and overfitting in neural networks, we consider some noise data as a singular value of a continuous function jump discontinuity point. The continuous part can be approximated with the simplest neural networks, which have good generalization performance and optimal network architecture, by traditional algorithms such as constructive algorithm for feed-forward neural networks with incremental training, BP algorithm, ELM algorithm, various constructive algorithm, RBF approximation and SVM. At the same time, we will construct RBF neural networks to fit the singular value with every error in 2 ( ) d L , and we prove that a function with m jumping discontinuity points can be approximated by the simplest neural networks with a decay RBF neural networks in 2 ( ) L by each error, and a function with m jumping discontinuity point (x), x d y f E can be constructively approximated by a decay RBF neural networks in 2 ( ) d L by each 0 error and the constructive part have no generalization influence to the whole machine learning system which will optimize neural network architecture and generalization performance, reduce the overfitting phenomenon by avoid fitting the noisy data. Keywords—neural network architecture, decay RBF neural networks, overfitting, generalization.

New Constructive Neural Network Architecture for Pattern Classification
Problem statement: Constructive neural network learning algorithms provide optimal ways to determine the architecture of a multi layer perceptron network along with learning algorithms for determining appropriate weights for pattern classification problems. These algorithms initially start with small network and dynamically allow the network to grow by adding and training neurons as needed unti...
متن کاملSolving Fuzzy Equations Using Neural Nets with a New Learning Algorithm
Artificial neural networks have the advantages such as learning, adaptation, fault-tolerance, parallelism and generalization. This paper mainly intends to offer a novel method for finding a solution of a fuzzy equation that supposedly has a real solution. For this scope, we applied an architecture of fuzzy neural networks such that the corresponding connection weights are real numbers. The ...

C-Mantec is a new neural network algorithm that adds competition between neurons with thermal perceptron learning rule. The neuron learning is ruled by the thermal perceptron rule that guarantees the stability of the learnt information while the architecture increases and while the neurons involve in competition for newly incoming data. Competing makes it possible that even after new neurons ha...
