Modeling agents in dialogue systems
نویسنده
چکیده
In this paper we present an extended logic programming framework that allows the modeling of dialogues between agents with different levels of sincerity and credulity. An agent is modeled by a set of extended logic programming rules, and the agent,s mental state is defined by the well-founded model of the extended logic program. Using this modeling process, an agent is able to participate in dialogues, updating and revising its mental state after each sentence.

Modeling Lateral Communication in Holonic Multi Agent Systems
Agents, in a multi agent system, communicate with each other through the process of exchanging messages which is called dialogue. Multi agent organization is generally used to optimize agents’ communications. Holonic organization demonstrates a self-similar recursive and hierarchical structure in which each holon may include some other holons. In a holonic system, lateral communication occurs b...
متن کاملA Neural Network Approach to Intention Modeling for User-Adapted Conversational Agents
Spoken dialogue systems have been proposed to enable a more natural and intuitive interaction with the environment and human-computer interfaces. In this contribution, we present a framework based on neural networks that allows modeling of the user's intention during the dialogue and uses this prediction to dynamically adapt the dialogue model of the system taking into consideration the user's ...

The present study aims to investigate the relationship between professors' character and dialogue-oriented teaching from the point of view of the students in University of Isfahan using structural equation modeling. This study is an applied one collecting data through descriptive-correlative methods. Statistical population of the study included 13281 students of Isfahan University in the school...
متن کاملWhat we can learn from Dialogue Systems that don’t work On Dialogue Systems as Cognitive Models
In the ‘real world’, dialogue systems typically are made to work long days in callcentres of airlines and banks, fielding customer queries (and often inviting customer rage). In academia, a strong line of research is aimed at making such systems better at such tasks (in the hope of reducing customer annoyance). Here, I want to explore potential uses of spoken dialogue systems not as members of ...
متن کاملAn Architecture for Unified Dialogue in Distributed Object Systems
In traditional information systems, the user interface is controlled by one single application. In distributed systems, several distributed components may want to influence the appearance and logic of the user interface. This paper describes a Unified Dialogue Architecture which enables several distributed components to control the logic and contents of the user dialogue while keeping the dialo...
