Two-dimensional general fan-type FIR digital filter design

Conventional transform methods can only design ordinary and quadrant fan-type filters with 90 ° pass-angle. In this paper, three efficient approaches are proposed for designing general arbitrary pass-angle fan-type filters. They include the analytic closed form, the rotated, and the frequency sampling design methods. Each approach has its features and is very suitable for directional filtering and image processing applications. Zusammenfassung Konventionelle Transformationsmethoden erm6glichen nur den Entwurf von gewrhnlichen und Quadrant Fan-Typ Filtern mit 90 ° Durchlal3phase. In dieser Arbeit werden drei effiziente Lrsungen for den Entwurf von allgemeinen Fan-Typ-Filtern mit beliebigen Durchlal3winkeln vorgeschlagen. Sie umfassen die analytische geschlossene Form, die Rotationsund die Frequency Sampling Entwurfsmethode. Jeder Entwurf hat seine Vorteile und ist sehr gut zur richtungsabh~ingigen Filterung und ffir Bildverarbeitungsanwendungen geeignet. Resum~ Les mrthodes de transformation conventionnelle ne permettent que la description des filtres quadrants et ordinaire d'angle de passage fi 90 °. Dans cet article, trois approches efficaces sont proposres pour drfinir des filtres grnrraux fi angle de passage arbitraire. Ces approches utilisent les mrthodes basres sur lar forme analytique close, la rotation, et la description d'6chantillon frrquentielle. Chaque approche possrde ses propres caractrristiques et est trrs bien adaptre au filtrage directionnel et aux applications de traitement d'images.
