Atomic-molecular Bose-Einstein condensates

چکیده

The study of coupled atomic-molecular Bose-Einstein condensates is currently an active research topic in the field of ultracold quantum gases. Our calculations here are potentially relevant to future Rubidium dimer experiments that could be carried out at either the SUT or ANU nodes of ACQAO. We also aim to model recent experiments on dissociation of 87Rb2 dimers in the group of G. Rempe at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, Garching, Germany [1]. We have made progress as follows:

Formation of pairing fields in resonantly coupled atomic and molecular bose-einstein condensates.

We show that pair correlations may play an important role in the dynamical properties of a Bose-Einstein condensed gas composed of an atomic field resonantly coupled with a condensed field of molecular dimers. Specifically, pair correlations in this system can dramatically modify the coherent and incoherent transfers between the atomic and molecular fields.
