Full Spectra as a Tool for Analysis of a Shaft Rotating in Journal Bearings
نویسنده
چکیده
(In English) The topic of the paper deals with full spectrum evaluation. The full spectrum plays a key role in the processing of complex signals. The real part of this kind of signals is a displacement in the X-direction while the imaginary part is a displacement in the perpendicular direction, as we say in the Y-direction. A good example is a shaft rotating in the journal bearing. The shaft displacements can be detected by proximity probes. The spectrum analysis results in full spectra. This analysis technique is demonstrated on the example of the fluid induced shaft.

متن کاملAnalysis of Roller Bearings’ Vibration Signals by Hilbert – Huang Transform as Diagnostic Tool
Roller bearings are important elements of high performance mechanical systems, as they support the rotating parts and they reduce the contact friction. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously monitor their performance using non-destructive diagnostic methods. These methods interrogate data signals acquired during the machines operation. In this paper, the method of Hilbert – Huang transform ...
متن کاملVibration Analysis of Rotating Shaft with Loose Disk
In this paper energy method is used to calculate rotor response with loose rotating disk on it. System equation of motion is obtained based on energy method and Lagrange equation. Mathematical modeling of loose disk in a rotor bearing system has resulted in terms similar to unbalance and gyroscopic effect in the system equation of motion. The effect of loose disk axial position and orthotropic ...
متن کاملActive Magnetic Bearings (amb)
A magnetic bearing is a bearing which supports a load using magnetic levitation. Magnetic bearings support moving machinery without physical contact, for example, they can levitate a rotating shaft and permit relative motion without friction or wear. In active magnetic bearings (AMB) a stable equilibrium is achieved by means of one or more control loops. The use of control loop for maintaining ...
