چکیده

important role in the maintenance of the differentiated functions of these organs, and is essential for the expression of all steroidogenic CYPs (Parker & Schimmer, 1997). It is also required for the expression of other genes involved in steroid hormone synthesis such as steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR), 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase /Δ5-Δ4 isomerase (HSD3B) and the ACTH receptor (ACTH-R, melanocortin-2 receptor MC2R) (Hammer & Ingraham, 1999). SF-1 has also been linked to the regulation of target gene expression in response to tropic hormones acting via the cAMP/protein kinase A (PKA) pathway. SF-1 has been shown to take part in cAMP-induced expression of StAR (Wooton-Kee & Clark, 2000), P450scc (CYP11A1) (Liu & Simpson, Temporal pa ern of the induction of SF-1 gene expression by the signal transduction pathway involving 3’,5’-cyclic adenosine monophosphate

Induction of Human Embryonic Stem Cells into neuronal differentiation by increasing cyclic Adenosine Mono Phosphate

Introduction: To evaluate the cAMP -mediated IBMX (3-IsoButyle -1-Methyl Xanthin) and db-cAMP (dibutyryl cAMP) effects on differentiation of human Embryonic Stem Cells (hESCs) into nerve cells were the objectives of this study. Methods: We have used Royan H1 hESC- derived embryoid bodies with four treatment groups: six days treatment with IBMX (5×10 -4M) and db-cAMP (10 -9M) (referred to as...

JAK-STAT pathway and JAK inhibitors: a primer for dermatologists

Background: All cellular events depend upon the DNA synthesis and gene expression involving complex interplay between ligands such as interleukins and interferons, with various cell membrane receptors. These ligand-receptors interactions transmit signals within the cell via numerous signal transduction pathways to affect gene expression. Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcrip...

Synergistic activation of the inhibin alpha-promoter by steroidogenic factor-1 and cyclic adenosine 3',5'-monophosphate.

The inhibin alpha-subunit gene is expressed in the ovary, testis, adrenal, and pituitary. Because this pattern of expression corresponds to that of the orphan nuclear receptor, steroidogenic factor-1 (SF-1), we hypothesized that the inhibin alpha promoter might be regulated by SF-1. Expression of exogenous SF-1, in an SF-1 deficient cell line, caused modest stimulation of the inhibin alpha prom...

The Effect of Endurance Exercise and Adenosine Consumption on UCP-1 Gene Expression in the Visceral Adipose Tissue of Obese Male Rats

Objective: Reducing white adipose tissue is an important strategy for treatment of obesity and its related metabolic disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of endurance exercise and adenosine consumption on the expression of selected genes of thermogenic pathway in the visceral adipose tissue of obese male rats. Materials and Methods: Twenty male wistar rats were fed ...

آنتاگونیست رسپتور اینترلوکین-1 انسانی: کلونینگ، بیان و بهینه سازی در میزبان E.coli

Introduction & Objective: Interleukine-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA) is a powerful anti-inflammatory cytokine which limits the biological effects of IL-1. Due to structural similarity between IL-1 and its antagonist, IL-1RA competitively binds to IL-1 receptor which leads to no signal transduction. Therefore , it is applied in the treatment of patients with inflammatory diseases such as Rheu...
