Event-B based Verification of Interaction Properties In Multi-Agent Systems

چکیده
This paper presents a new event-B based approach to reasoning about interaction protocols. We show how an event-B model can be structured from AUML protocol diagrams and then used to give a formal semantic to protocol diagrams which supports proofs of their correctness. More precisely, we give rules for the translation of protocol diagrams into event-B language. In particular, we focus on the translation of messages with response delay, complex messages and protocol’s states. The event-B language allows the definition of invariant describing required interaction properties and provides an automatic proof. By an example of multi-agent systems interaction protocol, we illustrate the proposed translation. KeywordsMulti-Agent Systems; specification; verification; AUML; Event B

A refinement-based approach to developing critical multi-agent systems
Multi-agent systems (MAS) are increasingly used in critical applications. To ensure dependability of MAS, we need powerful development techniques that would allow us to master complexity inherent to MAS and formally verify correctness and safety of collaborative agent activities. In this paper we present a rigorous approach to development and verification of critical MAS in Event-B. We demonstr...
متن کاملDecentralized prognosis of fuzzy discrete-event systems
This paper gives a decentralized approach to the problem of failure prognosis in the framework of fuzzy discrete event systems (FDES). A notion of co-predictability is formalized for decentralized prognosis of FDESs, where several local agents with fuzzy observability rather than crisp observability are used in the prognosis task. An FDES is said to be co-predictable if each faulty event can be...
متن کاملA class of multi-agent discrete hybrid non linearizable systems: Optimal controller design based on quasi-Newton algorithm for a class of sign-undefinite hessian cost functions
In the present paper, a class of hybrid, nonlinear and non linearizable dynamic systems is considered. The noted dynamic system is generalized to a multi-agent configuration. The interaction of agents is presented based on graph theory and finally, an interaction tensor defines the multi-agent system in leader-follower consensus in order to design a desirable controller for the noted system. A...
متن کاملVoltage Coordination of FACTS Devices in Power Systems Using RL-Based Multi-Agent Systems
This paper describes how multi-agent system technology can be used as the underpinning platform for voltage control in power systems. In this study, some FACTS (flexible AC transmission systems) devices are properly designed to coordinate their decisions and actions in order to provide a coordinated secondary voltage control mechanism based on multi-agent theory. Each device here is modeled as ...
متن کاملFormal Modelling and Verification of Cooperative Ant Behaviour in Event-B
Multi-agent technology is a promising approach to development of complex decentralised systems that dynamically adapt to changing environmental conditions. The main challenge while designing such multi-agent systems is to ensure that reachability of the systemlevel goals emerges through collaboration of autonomous agents despite changing operating conditions. In this paper, we present a case st...
