Multiuser Detection with Iterative ASTL-MIMO Beamformer in Asynchronous MIMO DS-CDMA System

چکیده

A blind Adaptive Space-Time Lifted Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (ASTL-MIMO) multiuser receiver is proposed for multipath MIMO channel estimation and multiuser detection of MIMO DS-CDMA systems in a realistic outdoor channel. An iterative and robust ASTL-MIMO Beamformer is employed to estimate the multipath MIMO channel parameters. For each iteration, the tracking mode with consideration of MIMO channel estimation errors, tray to optimize the proposed Beamformer to provide the best path direction (DOA) and path delay (TOA) which can significantly reduce effects of the MAI from the other users and ISI. Such a scheme produces a performance improvement with little added complexity and fewer Turbo iterations compared to conventional multiuser detector (MUD). Simulation results illustrate the superior ability of the proposed ASTL-MIMO detector in cancelling the MAI and ISI and improving the SNIR and BER performance over multiuser DS-CDMA MIMO channels.
