چکیده

Two high-performance liquid chromatographic methods are compared for the determination of monoand oligosaccharides in vegetables using an N H 2 column and acetonitrile-water as the mobile phase. One method uses a gradient elution and evaporative light-scattering detection; method precision (relative standard deviation) ranges from 1.09 to 4.44%, and detection limits range from 0.014 to 0.061 mg/mL. The second method uses isocratic elution and refractive index detection; method precision (relative standard deviation) ranges from 1.16 to 4.34%, and detection limits range from 0.013 to 0.022 mg/mL. When samples are analyzed by both methods, the difference between the two mean values is not statistically significant.

Determination of astragaloside IV in Radix astragali (Astragalus membranaceus var. monghulicus) using high-performance liquid chromatography with evaporative light-scattering detection.

A reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method is developed for the determination of astragaloside IV, a characteristic constituent in Radix Astragali. Samples are analyzed by means of a reverse-phase column (Zorbax Eclipse XDB C18) using acetonitrile and water under gradient conditions as the mobile phase for 30 min. An evaporative light-scattering detector is used and set at a...

Simple High-Performance Liquid Chromatographic Method for Determination of Ciprofloxacin in Human Plasma

A rapid, simple and sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography method was developed for determination of ciprofloxacin in plasma by means of ultraviolet detection. Ofloxacin was used as an internal standard and separation carried on a Novapak C18 column using a mobile phase of 0.01 M phosphate buffer (pH =2.6): methanol (82: 18 v/v). Extraction of drug was performed from plasma by liquid-...

Determination of ginsenosides in Panax ginseng roots by liquid chromatography with evaporative light-scattering detection.

A liquid chromatographic method was developed and validated for the determination of ginsenosides in Panax ginseng roots by using evaporative light-scattering detection. Eighteen ginsenosides were separated on a reversed-phase C18 column with water-ammonium acetate-acetonitrile as the mobile phase. The method is suitable for the routine determination of ginsenosides in P. ginseng roots and extr...

High-Performance Liquid Chromatographic Determination of Rivastig-mine in Human Plasma for Application in Pharmacokinetic Studies

A simple and reproducible HPLC method with spectrophotometric detection was developed for determination of rivastigmine in human plasma. Liquid-liquid extraction of rivastigmine and donepezil (as internal standard) from plasma samples was performed with 1-butanol/n-hexane (2:98 v/v) in alkaline condition followed by back-extraction into diluted acetic acid. Chromatography was carried out using ...
