چکیده

The purpose of the presentation is to give an overview of phonatory features of disordered voices and propose a classificatory framework. Generally speaking, phonatory features are numerical cues that summarize properties of speech signals or other voicerelated signals that are obtained noninvasively, and which are clinically relevant. The object of a classificatory framework is to ease the planning of future experiments and the exploitation of the existing literature, which is diverse with regard to pathologies studied, speaker tasks, speaker performance, speech material, vocal symptoms, sensors and sought for relations with other levels of description.

SUMMARY DRAFT Synthesis of disordered voices

This presentation concerns the simulation of disordered voices. The synthesis is based on shaping functions, which are nonlinear memoryless inputoutput characteristics that transform a trigonometric driving function into a synthetic phonatory excitation signal. One advantage of the shaping fuction model is that the instantaneous frequency and the spectral balance of the phonatory excitation sig...

Synthesis of disorde

The presentation concerns a synthesizer of disordered voices. The synthesizer consists of a non-linear model of the phonatory excitation and a vocal tract simulation based on a concatenation of cylindrical tubelets. For each tubelet, viscous, thermal and wall vibrations losses are modeled by means of numerical filters. A conical tubelet is added at the lip-end to simulate the transition from on...

Acoustic model and evaluation of pathological voice production

An acoustic model of pathological voice production is presented. It describes the non-linear effects occurring in the acoustic waveform of disordered voices. The noise components such as fundamental frequency and amplitude irregularities and variations, sub-harmonic components, turbulent noise and voice breaks are formally expressed as a result of random time function influences on the excitati...

Self-organizing map for the classification of normal and disordered female voices.

The goal of this research was to train a self-organizing map (SOM) on various acoustic measures (amplitude perturbation quotient, degree of voice breaks, rahmonic amplitude, soft phonation index, standard deviation of the fundamental frequency, and peak amplitude variation) of the sustained vowel /a/ to enhance visualization of the multidimensional nonlinear regularities inherent in the input d...

Learning Document Image Features With SqueezeNet Convolutional Neural Network

The classification of various document images is considered an important step towards building a modern digital library or office automation system. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) classifiers trained with backpropagation are considered to be the current state of the art model for this task. However, there are two major drawbacks for these classifiers: the huge computational power demand for...
