Estimation method for relative position and attitude between two haptic devices

چکیده

This paper proposes an estimation method of relative position and attitude between two haptic devices. In multiple haptic devices environment, it is important to know the relative position and attitude between the devices. In the proposed method, these properties can be easily calculated by using the several identical end-points of both devices. We conducted preliminary experiments to estimate the position of two devices by using 8 identical points maximally. These results show the feasibility and reasonable accuracy of the proposed method.
