In this study, a hybrid GIS-supported watershed modelling system is developed for integrated planning of water pollution control in the Lake Erhai basin, China. The system comprises a GIS-supported database, simulation/optimization models, and user interfaces developed through Arc/Info and ArcView. An inexactfuzzy multi-objective optimization model is developed for assessing a variety of system objectives and generating desired decision alternatives. It can effectively reflect uncertain, interactive and multi-objective features of the study system, and its solutions provide decision makers with a flexible decision space. The GIS technology is used for managing spatial and non-spatial data, linking models, and providing interfaces between the models and their users. The developed modelling system allows regional planners to obtain desired plans of human activities under a variety of objectives and constraints and to examine consequences and impacts resulting from alternative management practices. Système hybride de modélisation de bassin utilisant un SIG; étude de cas du bassin du lac Erhai (Chine) Résumé Cette étude concerne le développement d'une modélisation hybride de bassin versant s'appuyant sur un SIG et visant à une maîtrise intégrée de la pollution des eaux dans le bassin du lac Erhai en Chine. Le modèle comprend une base de données SIG, des modèles de simulation/optimisation, ainsi que des interfaces développées par l'intermédiaire d'ArcInfo et d'Arc View. Un modèle d'optimisation multiobjectif flou permet d'évaluer divers objectifs et d'élaborer des alternatives décisionnelles satisfaisantes. Ce modèle est capable de refléter les incertitudes comme le caractère interactif et multiobjectif du système étudié, et ses solutions permettent d'assurer la souplesse des décisions. On se sert de la technologie des SIG pour gérer des données spatialisées ou non, pour relier des modèles et pour créer des interfaces entre modèles et usagers. Le système de modélisation ainsi développé permet aux planificateurs régionaux d'obtenir des plans d'activité satisfaisants selon toute une gamme d'objectifs et de contraintes et d'examiner les conséquences et les impacts résultant de différentes pratiques d'aménagement.
