The relative motion between an earth-based radar and a satellite object is of interest for radartracking studies, signature simulation studies, and for developing inverse scattering techniques. Here, the motion analysis is accomplished with elementary vector algebra. This approach results in considerable simplification of the final equations and relation ships.
