Adaptive Hypermedia Systems: A review of adaptivity variables

Adaptive hypermedia systems (AHS) offer an alternative to the traditional “one-size-fitsall” hypermedia and Web systems by adapting to the goals, interests, and knowledge of individual users represented in the individual user models. This paper serves as a review of all different variables reported in the literature that have been used in AHS.
