چکیده
Critical Micelle Concentration (CMC) is the key point for surface chemistry as well as chemist and systematic data collection and day-to-day development in this regard is very essential. Hence, we have analyzed the CMC of surfactant, mixed surfactant and polymer at room temperature (28C), with the change in surfactant, mixed surfactant and polymer concentration CMC values were observed by two methods, surface tension and conductometric method. The result of CMC values of surfactant, mixed surfactant and polymer show different characteristics and out comes. The CMC values follows below order: Polymer >Surfactant–Polymer > Mixed Surfactant > Surfactant

Kinetic Studies of Some Esters and Amides in Presence of Micelles
The special properties of surfactants are important in a wide variety of applications in chemistry, biology, engineering, and other areas. These molecules are said to be amphipathic; i.e., they have distinct hydrophilic (polar) and hydrophobic (non polar) regions. The polar region, called the head group, may be neutral, cationic, anionic, or zwitterionic. The hydrophobic tail has one or more ch...

The kinetics of the reactions between triphenylphosphine 1 and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates 2, in the presence of a NH-acid such as 5-nitroindazole 3,were studied. Corresponding kinetic parameters to all reactions were evaluated, with the second order rate constant (k) values calculated. Effects of solvent, temperature, and reactant...

Synthesis of neopentyl glycol and ethylene glycol esters by fatty acids in the presence of acidic ion exchange resin catalyst
A most effective and less energy demanding method of producing fatty esters, diol esters, by esterifying fatty acids, with neopentyl and ethylenglycol alcohols in the presence of an acidic ion exchange resin catalyst(polyestyrendivinylbenzensulfated) was investigated at elevated temperature. In this process an azeotroping agent, toluene, was used to facilitate continuous removal of water by dis...
متن کاملSynthesis of some Polyol Esters and Diesters Catalyzed with SnO2 and Nano-SnO2
Esterification reactions of some polyols and diols were investigated in the presence of SnO2 and nano-SnO2 and the results were compared with the catalyst-free conditions. High conversions were obtained for most of the reactions in the presence of SnO2 and nano-SnO2 which shows the high catalytic activity of SnO2 and nano-SnO2</sub...
