چکیده

Near edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectra of hexadecafluoro copper phthalocyanine (FCuPc) films (thickness of 50 Å) on MoS2 substrates were observed near the carbon (C) and fluorine (F) K-edges. From the analysis of the dependence of C and F K-edge NEXAFS spectra on the photon incidence angle (α), the average molecular tilt angle was determined to be 30◦. The lowest and second lowest peaks in the F K-edge NEXAFS were assigned to the transition to ∗. In the ion time-of-flight mass spectra of FCuPc excited by photons near the F K-edge, F+, CF+, and CF3+ ions were mainly observed. These results indicate that C–C bonds as well as C–F bonds are broken by the photon irradiation. From the analysis of the partial ion yield spectra of F+ and CF+ near the F K-edge, the lowest and second lowest peaks in the F K-edge NEXAFS spectra could be assigned to transitions to (C–F)∗ and (C–C)∗, respectively. © 2004 Elsevier B.V. Nonequilibrium spin crossover in copper phthalocyanine

We demonstrate the nonequilibrium tip induced control of the spin state of copper phthalocyanine on an insulator coated substrate. We find that, under the condition of energetic proximity of many-body neutral excited states to the anionic ground state, the system can undergo a population inversion towards these excited states. The resulting state of the system is accompanied by a change in the ...

Degradation of Phthalocyanine by a Core-Shell TiO2 Photocatalyst: Effect of Iron Dopping on Band Gap

In this research, initially, the sol-gel method was employed to produce γ-alumina and TiO2 catalysts with core-shell structure. Iron (III) was used as a dopant. The newlyproduced core-shells were Fe/TiO2// Fe/ γ-Al2O3 (FTFA). Sulfonated cobalt phthalocyanine was used as a dye pollutant in Merox process. By doping Fe in TiO2 catalyst, the ef...

Coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering on single-walled carbon nanotube thin films excited through surface plasmons

We report experimental data that indicate an anti-Stokes Raman emission, reminiscent of coherent antiStokes raman scattering. It originates from a wave mixing process between the incident laser light l and Stokes Raman light s generated by a surface enhanced Raman scattering SERS mechanism. The variation of anti-Stokes SERS spectra of single-walled carbon nanotubes, copper phthalocyanine, and p...

The role of inner-shell excitations in electron recombination with complex multicharged ions

We performed an overview of the inner shell excitation phenomena in the study of electron recombination with multiply charged complex ions such as Au (q=49-52) and Pb. It is found the the inner shell excitations play a significant role in the low energy electron recombination. Taking into account these inner shell excitations we have calculated the energy avaraged capture cross sections. The di...

Bombardment Induced Electron-Capture Processes at Sodium Halide Surfaces

Discrete features observed in the energy distribution of electrons emitted from ion-bombarded sodium halide surfaces can be attributed to a new type of collisional deexcitation mechanism. Such a mechanism involves sodium atoms in bombardment-excited autoionizing states that are the result of cascade collisions within the crystal lattice. This deexcitation process, in contrast to that for a meta...
