AUTOSAR is the new standard software architecture design for automobiles, created in cooperation of the largest automobile manufactures. In this work a brief comparisation between the CAN Transport Protocol specification in the new architecture and the existing standard ISO 15765 is made. And the CAN Transport Protocol module is implemented. An evaluation of the AUTOSAR in whole is made for future planning at SRE. It is learned that AUTOSAR is a competent and advanced architecture.
