Homotopy Lie algebras, lower central series and the Koszul property

چکیده
Let X and Y be finite-type CW–complexes (X connected, Y simply connected), such that the rational cohomology ring of Y is a k–rescaling of the rational cohomology ring of X . Assume H∗(X,Q) is a Koszul algebra. Then, the homotopy Lie algebra π∗(ΩY ) ⊗ Q equals, up to k–rescaling, the graded rational Lie algebra associated to the lower central series of π1(X). If Y is a formal space, this equality is actually equivalent to the Koszulness of H∗(X,Q). If X is formal (and only then), the equality lifts to a filtered isomorphism between the Malcev completion of π1(X) and the completion of [ΩS 2k+1,ΩY ]. Among spaces that admit naturally defined homological rescalings are complements of complex hyperplane arrangements, and complements of classical links. The Rescaling Formula holds for supersolvable arrangements, as well as for links with connected linking graph. Confluence Algebras and Acyclicity of the Koszul Complex
The N -Koszul algebras are N -homogeneous algebras satisfying a homological property. These algebras are characterised by their Koszul complex: an N -homogeneous algebra is N -Koszul if and only if its Koszul complex is acyclic. Methods based on computational approaches were used to prove N -Koszulness: an algebra admitting a side-confluent presentation is N -Koszul if and only if the extra-con...
متن کاملChiral Koszul Duality
We extend the theory of chiral and factorization algebras, developed for curves by Beilinson and Drinfeld in [BD1], to higher-dimensional varieties. This extension entails the development of the homotopy theory of chiral and factorization structures, in a sense analogous to Quillen’s homotopy theory of differential graded Lie algebras. We prove the equivalence of higherdimensional chiral and fa...
متن کاملSome properties of nilpotent Lie algebras
In this article, using the definitions of central series and nilpotency in the Lie algebras, we give some results similar to the works of Hulse and Lennox in 1976 and Hekster in 1986. Finally we will prove that every non trivial ideal of a nilpotent Lie algebra nontrivially intersects with the centre of Lie algebra, which is similar to Philip Hall's result in the group theory.
متن کاملON THE COHOMOLOGY OF THE LIE ALGEBRA ARISING FROM THE LOWER CENTRAL SERIES OF A p-GROUP
We study the cohomology H(A) = Ext∗A(k, k) of a locally finite, connected, cocommutative Hopf algebra A over k = Fp. Specifically, we are interested in those algebras A for which H∗(A) is generated as an algebra by H(A) and H(A). We shall call such algebras semi-Koszul. Given a central extension of Hopf algebras F → A → B with F monogenic and B semiKoszul, we use the Cartan-Eilenberg spectral s...
