Lotttn, a Hindoo Cliamar, cooly by profession, aged about 30 years, a healthy and strong man, was admitted into the hospital on the 20th June 1872. About two years ago, one day, whilst urinating, he drew back the prepuce into the fossa glandis, where it remained constricted ; the plans penis consequently became swollen, but after some trouble he was able to reduce the parapliimotic condition; the prepuce gradually now began to increaso in size, and at present the whole of the integumental covering of the penis has become hypertrophied ; the scrotum has remained perfectly unaffected. He suffered from no pain or uneasiness, but the inconvenience caused by size and weight. Voids his urine freely ; the orifice corresponding to the aperture of the urethra was depressed and umbilicuted. The whole mass looked flaccid towards the root of the penis but tense, and hard throughout, and perfectly smooth on the surface.
