نویسنده
چکیده
We study a generalized ladder resummation in the superfluid phase of the nuclear matter. The approach is based on a conserving generalization of the usual T -matrix approximation including also anomalous self-energies and propagators. The approximation here discussed is a generalization of the usual mean-field BCS approach and of the in medium T -matrix approximation in the normal phase. The numerical results in this work are obtained in the quasiparticle approximation. Properties of the resulting self-energy, superfluid gap and spectral functions are studied. 21.65+f, 24.10Cn, 26.60+c

The structure of nuclei far off β-stability is investigated by nuclear many-body theory. In-medium interactions for asymmetric nuclear matter are obtained by (Dirac-) Brueckner theory thus establishing the link of nuclear forces to free space interactions. HFB and RPA theory is used to describe ground and excited states of nuclei from light to heavy masses. In extreme dripline systems pairing a...

In this work we calculate the 1 S 0 gap energies of Λ hyperons in neutron star matter. The calculation is based on a solution of the BCS gap equation for an effective G-matrix parameterization of the Λ−Λ interaction with a nuclear matter background, presented recently by Lanskoy and Yamamoto. We find that a gap energy of a few tenths of MeV is expected for Λ Fermi momenta up to about 1.3 fm −1....

Infinite nuclear matter mass model and the relativistic mean field theory show strong evidence of new neutron magic numbers 100, 150, 164; proton magic number 78 and new islands of stability around N=100, Z ≃ 62; N=150, Z=78; and N= 164, Z ≃ 90 in the drip-line regions of nuclear chart. It is shown that shell effect stabilizes here the instability due to nuclear force giving rise to a new pheno...

We use a modified SU(2) chiral sigma model to study nuclear matter component and simple bag model for quark matter constituting a neutron star. We also study the phase transition of nuclear matter to quark matter with the mixed phase characterized by two conserved charges in the interior of highly dense neutron stars. Stable solutions of Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equations representing hybrid ...
