چکیده

In this paper, we present Component Interface Diagrams as a notation to describe service access points (interfaces) of components, their structure, and their navigability. We g i v e guidelines that allow to map the component model presented here to diierent technologies, like ActiveX, CORBA, and Java Beans. The framework Frisco OEF, implemented in Java, illustrates the proposed component concept and proves its usefulness.

Modeling Dynamic Component Interfaces

In this paper we adopt a component model based on object oriented systems introducing the concepts of components and their structure A component consists of a dynamically changing set of connected objects Only some of these objects are interface objects and are thus accessible from the environment During the component lifetime not only the number of objects but also that of interface objects an...

Graphical Composition of Components with Feature Interactions

In this paper, we present a graphic description method for modeling software components with state diagrams (or automata). We build components by composing features, which define particular services or aspects of the component. The behavior of features is specified individually with partial (or incomplete) automata. Using refinement concepts for automata complete component descriptions are crea...

Analysis of User Interface Environment in Scientific Databases According to the Viewpoints of Postgraduate Students Applying Dervin's Sense-Making Theory

Abstract Background and purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the user interface environment of some databases (Science Direct, Springer, Clinical Key, and Wiley online library) from the perspective of users applying Dervin's sense-making theory. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in 100 PhD students and research-based PhD students in Mazandar...

Assembling Components using SysML with Non-Functional Requirements

Non-functional requirements of component based systems are important as their functional requirements, therefore they must be considered in components assembly. These properties are beforehand specified with SysML requirement diagram. We specify component based system architecture with SysML block definition diagram, and component behaviors with sequence diagrams. We propose to specify formally...

Component-based application development on architecture of a model, UI and components

Explosive increase in end-user computing on distributed systems requires that end-users develop application software by themselves. One solution is given as a formula of “a domain model ≡ a computation model,” which implies that one task in cooperative work corresponds to one object in an object-oriented model. Application development environment, M-base1, supports this formula. The application...
