چکیده

We present several naturally defined σ–ideals which have Borel bases but, unlike for the classical examples, these bases are not of bounded Borel complexity. We investigate set-theoretic properties of such σ–ideals.

Ideals of compact sets associated with Borel functions

We investigate the connection between the Borel class of a function f and the Borel complexity of the set C(f) = {C ∈ J(X) : f |C is continuous} where J(X) denotes the compact subsets of X with the Hausdorff metric. For example, we show that for a function f : X → Y between Polish spaces; if C(f) is Fσδ in J(X), then f is Borel class one.

Some results about unbounded convergences in Banach lattices

Suppose E is a Banach lattice. A net  in E is said to be unbounded absolute weak convergent ( uaw-convergent, for short) to  provided that the net  convergences to zero, weakly.  In this note, we further investigate unbounded absolute weak convergence in E. We show that this convergence is stable under passing to and   from ideals and sublattices. Compatible with un-convergenc, we show that ...

Jump Operations for Borel Graphs

We investigate the class of bipartite Borel graphs organized by the order of Borel homomorphism. We show that this class is unbounded by finding a jump operator for Borel graphs analogous to a jump operator of Louveau for Borel equivalence relations. The proof relies on a non-separation result for iterated Fréchet ideals and filters due to Debs and Saint Raymond. We give a new proof of this fac...

Polynomial Complexity for Hilbert Series of Borel Type Ideals

In this paper, it is shown that the Hilbert series of a Borel type ideal may be computed within a complexity which is polynomial in Dn where n + 1 is the number of unknowns and D is the highest degree of a minimal generator of input (monomial) ideal.

Generalizing the Borel property

We introduce the notion of Q-Borel ideals: ideals which are closed under the Borel moves arising from a poset Q. We study decompositions and homological properties of these ideals, and offer evidence that they interpolate between Borel ideals and arbitrary monomial ideals.
