A Jumping Gene Algorithm for Multiobjective Resource Management in Wideband CDMA Systems
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this paper, a newly developed jumping genes evolutionary paradigm is proposed for optimizing the multiobjective resource management problem in direct sequence–wideband code division multiple access systems. This formulation enables both total transmission power and total transmission rate to be simultaneously optimized. Since these two objectives are conflicting in nature, a set of tradeoff non-dominated solutions could be obtained without violating the quality of service. This new algorithm has been statistically tested and compared with a number of various multiobjective evolutionary algorithms including the use of binary ε-indicator for classifying the capability in generating the quality of non-dominated solution sets. In addition, the capacity of finding a number of extreme solutions is an extra indication to show its ability to measure the diversity along the Pareto-optimal solution front in a unique fashion.

متن کاملNonlinear Multiuser Receiver for Optimized Chaos-Based DS-CDMA Systems
Chaos based communications have drawn increasing attention over the past years. Chaotic signals are derived from non-linear dynamic systems. They are aperiodic, broadband and deterministic signals that appear random in the time domain. Because of these properties, chaotic signals have been proposed to generate spreading sequences for wide-band secure communication recently. Like conventional DS...

In this study, a multiobjective optimization is applied to Optimal Power Flow Problem (OPF). To effectively achieve this goal, a Multiobjective Ant Lion algorithm (MOALO) is proposed to find the Pareto optimal front for the multiobjective OPF. The aim of this work is to reach good solutions of Active and Reactive OPF problem by optimizing 4-conflicting objective functions simultaneously. Here a...
متن کاملPower Distribution Law and Its Impact on the Capacity of Multimedia Multirate Wideband CDMA Systems
The system capacity in an asynchronous direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system is dominated by multiple access interference (MAI) which is proportional to the transmit power strength of other users. The transmit power therefore becomes a major resource and requires careful planning and control if optimal system performance and maximal user capacity are to be achieved. Thi...
