Advanced Multitemporal Phase Unwrapping Techniques for DInSAR Analyses
نویسنده
چکیده
Differential Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (DInSAR) represents nowadays a wellestablished remote sensing technique to generate spatially dense surface deformation maps of large areas on Earth (Massonnet & Feigl, 1999; Bürgmann et. al., 2000). To achieve this task, the phase difference (known as interferogram) between SAR data pairs related to temporally-separated observations is exploited, retrieving a measure of the ground displacement projection along the radar line of sight (LOS) with centimeter to millimeter accuracy (Gabriel et. al., 1989).

This paper is focused on spaceborne Differential Interferometric SAR (DInSAR) for land deformation measurement and monitoring. In the last two decades several DInSAR data analysis procedures have been proposed. The objective of this paper is to describe the DInSAR data processing and analysis tools developed at the Institute of Geomatics in almost ten years of research activities. Four main DIn...

The paper is focused on Digital Elevation Model (DEM) reconstruction from differential interferometry synthetic aperture radar (DInSAR). In doing so, conventional DInSAR procedures are implemented to three repeat passes of RADARSAT-1 SAR fine mode data (F1). Further, the multichannel MAP height estimator is implemented with phase unwrapping technique. Consequently, the multichannel MAP height e...
متن کاملThree-Dimensional Coastal Geomorphology Deformation Modelling Using Differential Synthetic Aperture Interferometry
This work presents a new approach for three-dimensional (3D) coastal deformation simulation using differential synthetic aperture interferometry (DInSAR). In doing so, conventional InSAR procedures are implemented to three repeat passes of RADARSAT-1 SAR fine mode data (F1). Further, the DInSAR method is implemented with the phase unwrapping technique. Consequently, DInSAR is used to eliminate ...
متن کاملInSAR Phase Unwrapping by Transforming Sparce Data into a Regular Space
Phase unwrapping is one of the most important parts of InSAR techniques. In order to estimate the grand surface displacements, interferomtric phases modulated between 0 to 2π must be unwrapped. Based on the use of either the conventional method or persistent scatterer (PS), phases will be spread both regularly and irregularly. The phases of PSs can be unwrapped by reducing phases into a regular...
متن کاملModelling and Analysis Tools for Interferometric Sar Observations
A quantitative deformation monitoring using the differential interferometric SAR (DInSAR) technique may be achieved when multiple DInSAR observations and suitable modelling and analysis tools are employed. The paper begins with a description of the main characteristics of the DInSAR data. Then, it discusses a new modelling and filtering strategy, which takes advantage of the specific properties...
