Wilson Function Transforms Related to Racah Coefficients

چکیده
The irreducible ∗-representations of the Lie algebra su(1, 1) consist of discrete series representations, principal unitary series and complementary series. We calculate Racah coefficients for tensor product representations that consist of at least two discrete series representations. We use the explicit expressions for the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients as hypergeometric functions to find explicit expressions for the Racah coefficients. The Racah coefficients are Wilson polynomials and Wilson functions. This leads to natural interpretations of the Wilson function transforms. As an application several sum and integral identities are obtained involving Wilson polynomials and Wilson functions. We also compute Racah coefficients for Uq(su(1, 1)), which turn out to be Askey-Wilson functions and Askey-Wilson polynomials.

Hidden Symmetry of the Racah and Clebsch - Gordan Problems for the Quantum Algebra
The Askey-Wilson algebra AW (3) with three generators is shown to serve as a hidden symmetry algebra underlying the Racah and (new) generalized Clebsch-Gordan problems for the quantum algebra sl q (2). On the base of this hidden symmetry a simple method to calculate corresponding coefficients in terms of the Askey-Wilson polynomials is proposed.

Dynamical quantum groups were recently introduced by Etingof and Varchenko as an algebraic framework for studying the dynamical Yang–Baxter equation, which is precisely the Yang–Baxter equation satisfied by 6j-symbols. We investigate one of the simplest examples, generalizing the standard SU(2) quantum group. The matrix elements for its corepresentations are identified with Askey–Wilson polynom...

متن کاملAn Embedding of the Universal Askey - Wilson Algebra
The Askey–Wilson algebras were used to interpret the algebraic structure hidden in the Racah–Wigner coefficients of the quantum algebra Uq(sl2). In this paper, we display an injection of a universal analog △q of Askey–Wilson algebras into Uq(sl2) ⊗ Uq(sl2) ⊗ Uq(sl2) behind the application. Moreover we formulate the decomposition rules for 3-fold tensor products of irreducible Verma Uq(sl2)-modu...
متن کاملOn the Limit from q-Racah Polynomials to Big q-Jacobi Polynomials
A limit formula from q-Racah polynomials to big q-Jacobi polynomials is given which can be considered as a limit formula for orthogonal polynomials. This is extended to a multi-parameter limit with 3 parameters, also involving (q-)Hahn polynomials, little q-Jacobi polynomials and Jacobi polynomials. Also the limits from Askey–Wilson to Wilson polynomials and from q-Racah to Racah polynomials ar...
