Combinatorial algebra for second-quantized Quantum Theory
نویسندگان
چکیده
We describe an algebra G of diagrams that faithfully gives a diagrammatic representation of the structures of both the Heisenberg–Weyl algebra H – the associative algebra of the creation and annihilation operators of quantum mechanics – and U(LH), the enveloping algebra of the Heisenberg Lie algebra LH. We show explicitly how G may be endowed with the structure of a Hopf algebra, which is also mirrored in the structure of U(LH). While both H and U(LH) are images of G, the algebra G has a richer structure and therefore embodies a finer combinatorial realization of the creation–annihilation system, of which it provides a concrete model. e-print archive: http://lanl.arXiv.org/abs/1001.4964 1210 P. Coideal Subalgebras and Quantum Symmetric Pairs
Coideal subalgebras of the quantized enveloping algebra are surveyed, with selected proofs included. The first half of the paper studies generators, Harish-Chandra modules, and associated quantum homogeneous spaces. The second half discusses various well known quantum coideal subalgebras and the implications of the abstract theory on these examples. The focus is on the locally finite part of th...
متن کاملCombinatorial Quantization of the HamiltonianChern - Simons Theory IIAnton
This paper further develops the combinatorial approach to quantization of the Hamiltonian Chern Simons theory advertised in [1]. Using the theory of quantum Wilson lines, we show how the Verlinde algebra appears within the context of quantum group gauge theory. This allows to discuss atness of quantum connections so that we can give a mathematically rigorous de nition of the algebra of observab...

متن کاملGeneralized quantum field theory: perturbative computation and perspectives
We analyze some consequences of two possible interpretations of the action of the ladder operators emerging from generalized Heisenberg algebras in the framework of the second quantized formalism. Within the first interpretation we construct a quantum field theory that creates at any space-time point particles described by a qdeformed Heisenberg algebra and we compute the propagator and a speci...
متن کاملA numerical renormalization group approach for calculating the spectrum of a vibronic system occurring in molecules or impurities in insulators
Theoretically, in order to describe the behavior of a spectrum, a mathematical model whichcould predict the spectrum characteristics is needed. Since in this study a Two-state system has beenused like models which was introduced previously past and could couple with the environment, theformer ideas have been extended in this study. we use the second quantized version for writing thisHamiltonian...
