CINAHL: Canadian Index in Nursing and Allied Health Literature CINAHL provides indexing for 2,818 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health, as well as books, dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, and audiovisuals. The database contains more than 1,000,000 records dating back to 1982. It covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines. CISILO CISILO is a bilingual, bibliographic database, which provides references to international occupational health and safety literature. The database is created by the International Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre which scans more than 400 journals annually on basic safety and health topics. Some 50% of the abstracts cover topics specific to occupational hygiene; another 30% cover occupational medicine; and about 20% cover industrial safety. Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials Is a bibliographic database of definitive controlled trials.
