Measuring Software Agent ’ s Intelligence

– This paper outlines a methodology to test agent's intelligence using the general intelligence factor (factor g) and the theory of multiple intelligence in humans. The method presented is also based on the evolutionary theory and deals with knowledge as a kind of stored intelligence. A set of tests assess the multiple intelligences of the agents analyzing their behavior and performance in different environments and situations, including unknown ones – not pre-programmed – in such a way as to test their knowledge and creativity. This approach allows a quantitative and qualitative analysis of intelligence. So one can obtain a measure of the agent's intelligence capacity for each aspect, as well as their expectation of success.
