approach further extends the blackboard notion, considering it as a shared communication mean among all the agents available on the network. This gives rise to the DCBA (Distributed Control Blackboard Architecture), which is described in [5]. This research effort is just at its earliest development stages, and it leaves many issues still open. For example, we didn't address so far the problem of data security and authentication as well as communication management and resource allocation, which may nevertheless become crucial in a real communication environment. Moreover, in the current implementation we adopted a fixed schema for connecting all the component agents, while a dynamical one based on the negotiation of services would be more appropriate. Nevertheless we expect to solve many of those issues as the research in the field progresses.
