چکیده

For f an entire transcendental map with univalent Baker domain U of hyperbolic type I, we study pinching deformations in U , the support of this deformation being a lamination in the grand orbit of U . We show that pinching along a lamination that contains the geodesic λ∞ (See Section 3.1) does not converges. However, pinching at a lamination that does not contains such λ∞, converges and converges to a unique map F if: the Julia set of f , J(f) is connected, the postcritical set of f is a positive (plane) distance away from J(f), and it is thin at ∞. We show that F has a simply connected wandering domain that stays away from the postcritical set. We interpret these results in terms of the Teichmüller space of f , Teich(f), included in Mf the marked space of topologically equivalent maps to f .

Univalent Baker Domains

We classify Baker domains U for entire maps with fj U univalent into three diierent types, giving several criteria which characterize them. Some new examples of such domains are presented, including a domain with disconnected boundary in C and a domain which spirals towards innnity.

Boundaries of Unbounded Fatou Components of Entire Functions

An unbounded Fatou component U of a transcendental entire function is simplyconnected. The paper studies the boundary behaviour of the Riemann map Ψ of the disc D to U , in particular the set Θ of ∂D where the radial limit of Ψ is ∞ . If U is not a Baker domain and ∞ is accessible in U , then Θ is dense in ∂D . If U is a Baker domain in which f is not univalent, Θ contains a non-empty perfect s...

Deformation of Entire Functions with Baker Domains

We consider entire transcendental functions f with an invariant (or periodic) Baker domain U. First, we classify these domains into three types (hyperbolic, simply parabolic and doubly parabolic) according to the surface they induce when we quotient by the dynamics. Second, we study the space of quasiconformal deformations of an entire map with such a Baker domain by studying its Teichmüller sp...

On the Linear Combinations of Slanted Half-Plane Harmonic Mappings

‎In this paper,  the sufficient conditions for the linear combinations of slanted half-plane harmonic mappings to be univalent and convex in the direction of $(-gamma) $ are studied. Our result improves some recent works. Furthermore, a illustrative example and imagine domains of the linear combinations satisfying the desired conditions are enumerated.

Solution of Thermo-Fluid problems in Bounded Domains via the Numerical Panel Method

The classical panel method has been extensively used in external aerodynamics to calculate ideal flow fields around moving vehicles or stationary structures in unbounded domains. However, the panel method, as a somewhat simpler implementation of the boundary element method, has rarely been employed to solve problems in closed complex domains. This paper aims at filling this gap and discusses th...
