The Nowadays ICT Teacher’ Challenges From Kidlink to Web Generation

A short historical discussion of the Internet access’ influence into the students’ thinking, pointing projects devoted to use of ICT in education, together with the pressure of technological evolution for a change of educational system. The local situation regarding the ICT use in Romanian schools are analysed based on some recent Romanian e-groups teacher postings, and authors own papers as well. The main intention of the paper being to prove the urgent need of a real and well developed reform of the Romanian educational system, based especially on a major change of the teacher’ training.
