A New and Feasible Protocol for Semi-quantum Key Distribution
نویسندگان
چکیده
Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocols make it possible for two quantum parties to generate a secret shared key. Semi-quantum Key Distribution (SQKD) protocols, such as “QKD with classical Bob” and “QKD with classical Alice” (that have both been proven robust), achieve this goal even if one of the parties is classical. However, the currently existing SQKD protocols are not experimentally feasible with the current technology. Here we suggest a new protocol (“Classical Alice with a controllable mirror”) that can be experimentally implemented with the current technology, and prove it to be robust. 2 Michel Boyer, Matty Katz, Rotem Liss, and Tal Mor

Limited Resource Semi-Quantum Key Distribution
A semi-quantum key distribution (SQKD) protocol allows a quantum user and a limited “classical” user to establish a shared secret key secure against an allpowerful adversary. In this work, we present a new SQKD protocol where the quantum user is also limited in her measurement capabilities. We describe the protocol, prove its security, and show its noise tolerance is as high as “fully quantum” ...
متن کاملQuantum secret sharing with classical Bobs
Boyer, Kenigsberg, and Mor [Phys.Rev.Lett.99, 140501(2007)] proposed a novel idea of semi-quantum key distribution where a key can be securely distributed between Alice who can perform any quantum operation and Bob who is classical. Extending the idea of “semiquantum” to other tasks of quantum information processing is of interest and worth considering. In this article, we consider the issue of...

College of Information and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang Gongshang University, Hangzhou, 310018, China [email protected] Abstract: In this paper, we employ the standard BB84 protocol as the basic model of quantum key distribution (QKD) in depolarizing channel. We also give the methods to express the preparation and measurement of quantum states on classical computer and realize the si...

متن کاملMulti-Party Quantum Dialogue with the Capability to Expand the Number of Users at Runtime
Quantum dialogue is a type of quantum communication in which users can simultaneously send messages to each other. The earliest instances of quantum dialogue protocols faced security problems such as information leakage and were vulnerable to intercept and resend attacks. Therefore, several protocols have been presented that try to solve these defects. Despite these improvements, the quantum di...
