ABSTRSCT: The advent of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) Status and biomarker testing has modified the treatment and prognosis of gastric, breast and colorectal cancer. Epidermal growth factor receptor and HER-2 family maneuvers a key role in the exploitation of gastric cancer by detecting the epidermis express in gastric cancer tissue and to investigate serum and tissue HER2. Targeted drugs i.e. antineoplastic therapies such as EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors have application in the treatment of gastric cancer.
