2006-1325: Conceptual Graphs and Storyboarding for Problem Solving Strategies in Mathematics

چکیده
The major challenge for eLearning courses on undergraduate mathematics is the broadness of the audience they are targeted at. Our proposal how to deal with this challenge is to deploy intelligent assistants using Bayesian learning which, given some initial knowledge on the audience, explore user behavior to build up a model of the learner within the system. This allows us to leave the choice of the most suitable learning material to the learner. Thus, it enables an adaption of the system to individual learning styles while avoiding the risk of overwhelming the user by the plethora of choices of available material. Starting with models for learner and course, we present a prototypical implementation of such a system within the virtual laboratory VIDEOEASEL developed at the TU Berlin.

متن کاملJust chromatic exellence in fuzzy graphs
A fuzzy graph is a symmetric binary fuzzy relation on a fuzzy subset. The concept of fuzzy sets and fuzzy relations was introduced by L.A.Zadeh in 1965cite{zl} and further studiedcite{ka}. It was Rosenfeldcite{ra} who considered fuzzy relations on fuzzy sets and developed the theory of fuzzy graphs in 1975. The concepts of fuzzy trees, blocks, bridges and cut nodes in fuzzy graph has been studi...
متن کاملMatching and Merging of Ontologies Using Conceptual Graphs
Knowledge management applications need to determine whether two or more knowledge representations encode the same knowledge. Solving this matching problem is hard because representations may encode the same content but differ substantially in form. Previous approaches to this problem have used either syntactic measure or semantic knowledge to determine the distance between two representations. ...

Redundancy allocation problem is one of most important problems in reliability area. This problem involves with the suitable redundancy levels under certain strategies to maximizing system reliability under some constraints. Many changes have been made on this problem to draw the problem near to real situations. Selecting the redundancy strategy, using different system configuration are some of...
