A new large-number coincidence and a scaling law for the cosmological constant

چکیده
An ensemble of pure numbers of the order of 10 is produced naturally from the fundamental parameters of modern cosmology. This new large-number coincidence problem is resolved by demonstrating implicit physical connections that follow from the standard cosmological model. However, the occurrence of the new large-number coincidence combined with the known coincidence among pure numbers of the order of 10 poses a distinct problem that is resolved with a scaling law for the cosmological constant that was originally proposed by Zel’dovich.

Noncommutative Cosmology
We show that the large number coincidence can be interpreted as giving the filling factor in a Landau problem. The analogy with the Landau problem leads to noncommutativity between the gravitational and matter degrees of freedom. We present a toy model that supports this view. We present, also, some of the physical consequences this noncommutativity implies like a different insight into the sem...

In the second self-creation theory of gravitation and in the general theory of relativity, Bianchi type VI0 cosmological model in the presence of viscous fluid is studied. An exact solution of the field equations is given by considering the cosmological model yields a constant decelerations parameter q=constant and the coefficients of the metric are taken as A(t)=[c1t+c<su...
متن کاملTHE SCALING LAW FOR THE DISCRETE KINETIC GROWTH PERCOLATION MODEL
The Scaling Law for the Discrete Kinetic Growth Percolation Model The critical exponent of the total number of finite clusters α is calculated directly without using scaling hypothesis both below and above the percolation threshold pc based on a kinetic growth percolation model in two and three dimensions. Simultaneously, we can calculate other critical exponents β and γ, and show that the scal...
متن کاملAvoiding the dark energy coincidence problem with a cosmic vector
We show that vector theories on cosmological scales are excellent candidates for dark energy. We consider two different examples, both are theories with no dimensional parameters nor potential terms, with natural initial conditions in the early universe and the same number of free parameters as ΛCDM. The first one exhibits scaling behaviour during radiation and a strong phantom phase today, end...
متن کاملMatching the observational value of the cosmological constant
A simple model is introduced in which the cosmological constant is interpreted as a true Casimir effect on a scalar field filling the universe (e.g. R × T p × T q , R × T p × S effect is driven by compactifying boundary conditions imposed on some of the coordinates, associated with large and with small scales (the total number of large spatial coordinates being always three). The very small —bu...
