چکیده

This paper describes two major humanoid robotic competitions: the RoboCup Humanoid League and the FIRA HuroCup, which were both introduced in 2002. Even though both competitions have the final goal of creating a team of robots that can compete with humans in a soccer math, the two associations focused on different intermediate goals. RoboCup focused on interesting soccer matches between teams of robots as soon as possible, whereas HuroCup emphasizes versatility and robustness through a series of 8 events for a single robot.
