چکیده

The current state-of-the art of oscillator simulation techniques is presented. Candidate approaches for the next genertion of oscillator simulation techniques are reviewed. The method is presented which uses an efficient and robust convolution-based procedure to integrate frequency-domain modeling of a distributed linear network in transient simulation. The impulse response of the entire linear distributed network is obtained and the algorithm presented herein ensures that aliasing effects are minimized by introducing a procedure that ensures that the interconnect network response is both time-limited and band-limited. In particular, artificial filtering to bandlimit the response is not required.

Modern microwave and millimeter wave phased array antennas are attractive because of their ability to steer wave beams in space without physically moving the antenna element. A typical phased array antenna may have several thousand elements fed by a phase shifter for every antenna, which can steer the resulting array beam to different directions. Their low loss, low cost and lightweight phase s...

Research Progress in Reversed Cherenkov Radiation in Double-negative Metamaterials

We review the research progress in reversed Cherenkov radiation in double-negative metamaterials (DNMs) starting from the first experimental verification of the DNMs reported in 2001, including theories, numerical computation and simulation and experiments. We also discuss the potential applications to particle detectors and highpower microwave or millimeter-wave devices, including the oscillat...

Superconducting Microstrip-Fed Antenna Coupled to a Microwave Kinetic Inductance Detector

A proper antenna to couple to a microstrip Microwave Kinetic Inductance Detector (MKID) is designed and simulated. A twin-slot microstrip-fed inline antenna is designed for frequency band of 600-720~GHz integrated with an elliptical lens and coupled to the MKID. A systematic design procedure for design of such antenna with microstrip inline feeding is presented. Whole structure of lens and twin...
