Anemia in chickens with a transplantable lymphoid tumor.

Chickens inoculated with a transplantable lymphoid tumor developed a progressive anemia that was classified morpho logically as normochromic and normocytic. The bone marrow showed normal cellularity with no evidence of tumor metastasis, and immature erythrocytes were not detected in the peripheral blood.
