چکیده

The surface chemistry of adsorbed isopropoxy groups on supported vanadia–alumina and vanadia–silica catalysts was investigated with multiple in situ spectroscopic techniques. The in situ FT-IR, Raman and UV–vis spectroscopic measurements provided molecular level information about the surface intermediates and the surface vanadium oxide species as a function of different conditions. The spectroscopic insights were compared to the steady state fixed bed catalytic reaction studies of isopropanol oxidation and propane oxidative dehydrogenation in order to better understand the molecular structure–reactivity/selectivity relationships. # 2004 Elsevier B.V. Propane oxidative dehydrogenation over vanadium oxide nanostructures supported on porous graphene prepared by hydrothermal method

In this study at first, in laboratory, three types of vanadium oxide were produced by using porous graphene and amine framework in hydrothermal method nanostructures such as: vanadium oxide - octadecyl amine - graphene, vanadium oxide - dodecyl amine - graphene and vanadium oxide – aniline - graphene (V-ODA-G، V-DDA-G، V-A-G). Then their structures and functions in propane dehydrogenation react...

Structure and Properties of Vanadium Oxide–Zirconia Catalysts for Propane Oxidative Dehydrogenation

The structure of vanadia species supported on zirconia depends on VOx surface density and on the temperature of catalyst oxidation pretreatments. X-ray diffraction and Raman and UV-visible spectroscopies show that supported VOx species form polyvanadate domains of increasing size and ultimately monolayers and clusters as vanadium surface density increases. Initial propene selectivities in oxida...

Vanadium Oxide Supported on Al-modified Titania Nanotubes for Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane

In this study, characterization of vanadia supported on Al-modified titania nanotubes (TiNTs) synthesized by the alkaline hydrothermal treatment of TiO2 powders has been reported. A promising catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of propane was prepared via the incipient wetness impregnation method. The morphology and crystalline structure of TiNTs were characterized by transmission elec...

Catalysis science of supported vanadium oxide catalysts.

Supported vanadium oxide catalysts contain a vanadium oxide phase deposited on a high surface area oxide support (e.g., Al2O3, SiO2, TiO2, etc.) and have found extensive applications as oxidation catalysts in the chemical, petroleum and environmental industries. This review of supported vanadium oxide catalysts focuses on the fundamental aspects of this novel class of catalytic materials (molec...

CH3OH oxidation over well-defined supported V2O5/Al2O3 catalysts: Influence of vanadium oxide loading and surface vanadium–oxygen functionalities

A series of supported V2O5/Al2O3 catalysts were synthesized by incipient wetness impregnation with vanadium isopropoxide in isopropanol solutions and subsequent calcination. The vanadium surface density was varied from 0.3 to 11.4 V atoms/nm2 spanning the sub-monolayer and above-monolayer regions. The resulting supported vanadium oxide catalysts were physically characterized with in situ Raman ...
