In the past two decades computers have begun to be used extensively as media. The two most influential types of media usage is the internet and the WWW, corresponding to telephone, letters, newspapers and television, and the computer game genre, corresponding to aesthetic products such as novels and movies. The unique characteristic of the computer medium is its interactivity, i.e. the fact that the consumer’s physical manipulation of the product is an integral and meaningful part of the consumption process.
