Inference with Idempotent Valuations

چکیده
Valuation based systems verifying an idem-potent property are studied. A partial order is deened between the valuations giving them a lattice structure. Then, two diierent strategies are introduced to represent valuations: as innmum of the most informative valuations or as supremum of the least informative ones. It is studied how to carry out computations with both representations in an eecient way. The particular cases of nite sets and convex polytopes are considered.

In this paper, we study pseudo-valuations on a BCI-algebra and obtain some related results. The relation between pseudo-valuations and ideals is investigated. We use a pseudo-metric induced by a pseudovaluation to introduce a congruence relation on a BCI-algebra.
