Osseous Trauma in the Fetlock Region of Mature Sports Horses

Osseous trauma of the fetlock is a potentially important cause of lameness in mature sports horses, and although the diagnosis may be achieved by radiographic examination in some horses, nuclear scintigraphy or magnetic resonance imaging may be required for other horses.
