چکیده
This paper presents a new method for calibrating both the intrinsic and the extrin-sic parameters of a camera. The algorithm dynamically positions a single calibration feature (a light) within the eld of view, choosing locations convenient for calibration. This allows us to simplify the calibration algorithm and collect dense data on radial distortion and intensity drop-oo. Dense data makes the distortion correction more accurate than traditional low-order polynomial ts, and allows us to calibrate even wide-angle lenses (90 eld of view). Our method is very general and easy to understand. It can easily be modiied by other users to suit their particular calibration situation, without forcing them to build a high precision calibration target or wade through a sea of linear algebra. The algorithm, implementation details, and test results are presented.

Robot Aerobics: Four Easy Steps to a More Flexible Calibration
In this paper, we present a method for calibrating intrinsic and extrinsic camera parameters. This algorithm can easily be modiied by other users to suit their particular calibration needs, without requiring a high precision calibration target or complicated linear algebra. The algorithm uses controlled motions and a single light source to simulate calibration targets in convenient 3D locations...
متن کاملA Visual Servoing-Based Method for ProCam Systems Calibration
Projector-camera systems are currently used in a wide field of applications, such as 3D reconstruction and augmented reality, and can provide accurate measurements, depending on the configuration and calibration. Frequently, the calibration task is divided into two steps: camera calibration followed by projector calibration. The latter still poses certain problems that are not easy to solve, su...

Background and Purpose : Though lateral veiw radiography is considered as a standard method for measuring lumbar lordosis, but due to different reasons, this method is expensive particularly in research. Thereby, the aim of this study is to find out a reliable, easy, less expensive and non hazardous method for measuring lumbar lordosis. Materials and methods : This study was done in two st...
متن کاملLow-cost step aerobics system with virtual aerobics trainer
In this paper a low-cost step-aerobics instructor simulation system is presented. The proposed system analyses a given song to identify its rhythmic pattern. Subsequently, this rhythmic pattern is used in order to issue a set of steps-aerobics commands to the user, thus simulating a training session. The system uses a Wii Balance Board to track exercises performed by users and runs on an Androi...
متن کاملKinematical and dynamical characteristics of gait in step aerobics and overloads of movement system
Step is a common physical activity which can have positive or negative influence on human movement system. Every step aerobics session involves a large number of loading cycles and if volume and intensity of the training are too high they may cause overloads or injuries [1]. The loads in step aerobics depend on movement technique [2], stepping ratemusic tempo [3], step height [4], damping prope...
